Leicestershire Boys Under 15 Inter County Squash Report

 
The Boys U15 Inter County fixture was held at The Park Squash Club Nottingham on the 14th October 2012. The counties involved were Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk and Nottinghamshire.
 
In the first match Leicestershire played Lincolnshire and were narrowly beaten 3:2 . With good wins by Simon Herbert (3:1), Umar Bhatti (3:0) and good efforts by Fred Smith , Tom Wills and Will Crooks who narrowly lost (1:3) .
 
The second match against Norfolk  was  a little harder and were beaten 4:1. But there was a very good win by Will Crooks (3:1) with Umar Bhatti just missing out by losing 3:1. Simon Herbert , Fred Smith and Tom Wills all battled hard but the opposition was just too good on the day.
 
The third match was against the hosts Nottinghamshire and although they were beaten 5:0 they fought very hard in every game. With Simon Herbert taking a game off the Nottingham number one with some strong controlled squash but eventually losing the game 3:1. Umar Bhatti , Will Crooks and Tom Wills fought well but lost 3:0 to stronger players on the day and Fred Smith using his technical skills which included using his favourite double handed shot was to no avail and lost 3:0.
